These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of buceeslocation.com, including the interactive Buc-ee’s location map, the store directory, the trip planner, the trip cost calculator, and all written content on the site. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Throughout this document, “the site”, “we”, and “us” mean buceeslocation.com. “You” means anyone accessing the site, whether as a casual visitor or through automated means.
1. What This Site Is
buceeslocation.com is an independent directory and mapping tool for locating Buc-ee’s travel centers across the United States. We compile store addresses, highway exit numbers, store sizes, amenity information, and announced opening dates into a single searchable map, and we publish written guides about planning road trips around those stores.
We are not Buc-ee’s. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Buc-ee’s Ltd. or any of its subsidiaries. 2. Permission to Use the Site
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the site for your own non-commercial trip planning and informational purposes. That licence covers normal browsing: reading pages, using the map, running the trip planner, and sharing links to our pages.
It does not extend to republishing our content, incorporating our compiled data into another product, or using the site as a data source for a competing service.
3. Things You Must Not Do
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract the store directory or any substantial part of it, whether by automated script, headless browser, or manual copying, except for the limited personal use described above
- Republish, redistribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit our compiled data, written guides, or map without our prior written permission
- Use the site or its content to train a machine learning model or build a derivative dataset without our prior written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, its database, or any connected system
- Introduce malware, run vulnerability scans against our infrastructure, or interfere with the site’s normal operation
- Place a disproportionate load on our infrastructure, including through denial-of-service techniques or aggressive automated requests
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, attribution, or advertising disclosure on the site
- Frame the site, or present our content within your own site in a way that suggests it is yours
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation
Ordinary search engine indexing is welcome and is not affected by these restrictions, provided crawlers respect our robots.txt directives.
4. Accuracy of Information
We put real effort into keeping the directory accurate, and our Editorial and Corrections Policy sets out how we source and verify it. Even so, the information on this site is provided for general guidance and cannot be guaranteed.
Specific limitations you should understand before relying on anything here:
- Fuel prices are estimates, not a live feed. Pump prices change daily and vary by grade. Check current prices before making a routing decision based on cost.
- Crowd levels are modelled from typical traffic patterns, not live occupancy data. A store shown as quiet may be busy.
- Opening dates for announced stores shift. Construction schedules slip, permits get delayed, and companies revise plans. Treat every future date as provisional.
- Amenity details can change without notice. A car wash may be out of service, charger counts may be revised, and store layouts get remodelled.
- Exit numbers are shown only where verified. A store listing a highway without an exit number means we have not confirmed the exit, not that no exit exists.

5. Trip Planner and Cost Calculator
The trip planner draws an approximate route and identifies stores that fall reasonably close to it. The trip cost calculator produces an estimate based on the figures you enter for fuel economy, distance, and party size, combined with our estimated pump prices.
Both tools are planning aids. Routes generated here are not turn-by-turn navigation instructions and do not account for road closures, construction, weight or height restrictions, seasonal access, live traffic, or local regulations. Cost figures are illustrative and will differ from what you actually spend.
Always use a proper navigation application for driving directions, and always drive according to road conditions and the law. Do not interact with this site while driving.
6. Intellectual Property
The written guides, page copy, site design, data compilation, categorisation scheme, and the selection and arrangement of information on this site are our original work and are protected by copyright. The compiled directory as a whole is protected as a database compilation even where individual addresses are factual.
Map tiles are supplied by CARTO using OpenStreetMap data and remain subject to the OpenStreetMap Contributors licence and CARTO’s terms. The mapping library is Leaflet, used under its own open-source licence. Attribution for both appears on the map itself and must not be removed.
“Buc-ee’s” and related names, logos, and the beaver character are trademarks of Buc-ee’s Ltd. We use the name descriptively, to identify the stores this directory covers, which is nominative fair use. No claim of ownership is made and no affiliation is implied.
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with a description of the work, the URL of the allegedly infringing material, your contact details, and a statement of good faith belief. We investigate every notice and remove infringing material where the claim is substantiated.
7. Advertising
The site is free to use and is funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisements appear alongside editorial content and are visually distinguishable from it.
We do not control which specific advertisements are shown to you, and the appearance of an advertisement is not an endorsement of the advertiser, their products, or their claims. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is strictly between you and them, and we accept no responsibility for it. Advertisers have no input into our editorial content or the ordering of the directory.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The site links to external websites including the official Buc-ee’s site, Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, news outlets, and state transport authorities. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control external sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but make no commitment about uptime. The site may be unavailable for maintenance, due to hosting problems, or for reasons beyond our control. We may add, change, suspend, or remove any feature at any time, including the trip planner, the cost calculator, or the visited-store tracker, without prior notice and without liability.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The site and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any defect will be corrected.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or connected to your use of the site. This includes, without limitation, wasted journeys, fuel costs, missed appointments, lost travel time, loss of profits, loss of data, or any loss arising because information on the site turned out to be outdated or inaccurate.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to one hundred United States dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.
13. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these terms by reference. Together they explain what we collect, what we do not collect, and how to exercise your rights.
14. Termination
We may restrict or block access to the site, at our discretion and without notice, where we reasonably believe someone is breaching these terms, in particular through automated scraping or attempts to compromise the site.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the “last updated” date at the top will change. Continuing to use the site after that point means you accept the revised terms. If a change is significant, we will flag it on the site.
16. General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.
